There is not much to do to prepare for your shoot. Just do what you do
naturally as a real estate professional, sell us your listing with enthusiasm.
We will have a loose script prepared, based on our interview with you about the
listing. Before we tape a room, we will suggest a one or two sentence line
that you can say. Many of our best shots come from an agent adlibbing.
We find that the mere suggestion of what to say about a particular room,
inspires agents to come alive and give us their best impression of a home.
This is the time to let your personality shine through. A director is
with you coaching you every step of the way Our agents have found the
taping a fun and enjoyable experience.
The camera person also shoots each room with and without you in the picture.
We then sit down at the end of the taping and record voice overs. This
seems to be the easiest part for agents. You will sit and read short
descriptions and explanations into a microphone. These voice overs are
used for shots when you aren't in the picture. Any mistakes in taping can
easily be corrected using the voice overs.
For and average size home, (5,000 square feet and under) it takes and hour
and a half to two hours. Larger homes can take longer.
The production crew can give you a good estimate at the time of taping.
You normally will receive your finished video in three or four days. We
will publish your video to Realtor.com as soon as we have your approval on the
finished video. DVD's can take longer to finish depending on how many you
order.
A Realtor website video is a video that streams on your website.
Usually it is placed on your homepage and is a short introduction and welcome by
you. These video's give the visitor an opportunity to instantly connect
with you. Your website instantly becomes much more personal than just
reading or looking at pictures. A recent internet study showed that
visitors stayed 78% longer on a website that had video. These video's can
also be put on a DVD along with your open house videos and used for farming and
marketing.
